Leap Year is an upcoming romantic comedy film directed by Anand Tucker. The movie will star Amy Adams and Matthew Goode as the main characters, Anna and Declan.

Plot

Anna (Amy Adams) travels to Dublin, Ireland to propose to her boyfriend Jeremy (Adam Scott) on February 29, leap day, because according to Irish legend, a man who is proposed to on a leap day must accept.^{[^98] While mid-flight to Dublin, there is a storm and they must divert to Cardiff. Anna hires a boat to take her to Cork, but gets only as far as the Dingle Peninsula, where she enlists the help of a surly Irish innkeeper, Declan (Matthew Goode), to make an unexpected cross-country trek across land and water to pull off the perfect proposal in time, and begins to question her intentions with Jeremy when she makes a connection with Declan.}
